Museum of Science

The stated Mission of this 170-year-old Museum of Science is “to stimulate interest in and further understanding of science and technology and their importance for individuals and for society.”

Activities, exhibits and programs of the Museum live up to the Mission. They encourage curiosity, questioning and exploration, and create a sense of personal achievement in learning. This is what makes a visit to this museum truly enjoyable.

The Museum has many interactive exhibits both permanent and traveling covering almost all aspects of science from Archeology and going all the way to virtual fishing. It also features Omni Theater, Planetarium, and Laser Theater where shows unravel mysteries of science.

The Museum is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm everyday except Thanksgiving and Christmas. The regular charges for admission are $12 for the Exhibit halls and $8 for Omni, Planetarium, and Laser.
